The Mountain of Colourful Clothes

I am not the most organised person.. but once in a while I'll try to organise my things so that it wont be that messy and easy to find. I've just started cleaning out my wardrobe when I realise there's simply too much clothes piling up in the basket waiting to be fold or hang. And thanks to the "love statement" from my Astro, I finally get to doing it! When I put all the clothes on the bed (including the one I took out from the wardrobe), I have succeeded in building a mountain of colourful clothes! There's not one space left of the bed (mind you, it's queen size!) which can be seen from under the mountains of clothes! Well, somehow someway, I've accidentally collect clothes hehe there's clothes from my schooldays, clothes from my sister's schooldays, clothes from my university days, clothes from my "before 25" days and clothes from my "current years" days.. It's been exactly 3 days from the moment I started and I'm still trying to sort the pile of clothes.. And I am glad when I searched the net that I found this great website by Marcia Francois It list down all these great tips you need of how to organise everything! and the need for organising!
For now, besides sorting out the clothes, I'm ironing all the clothes that I've decided to keep before putting them again in the wardrobe. It's simply because I can't stand to see the crumpleness and creaseness (results of being too long in the basket hehe) and because I simply can take it and wear it on the spot when the feeling strikes me! It'll save me more time as I'm always in such a hurry (I'm late getting to my work or someplace else huhu) For anyone else who is experiencing the same situation as me, isn't it such a pleasure to see all your clothes are neatly hang or folded,organised and ironed eveytime you open the wardrobe in search of something to wear?! It's a sign of winning a battle! =)

Dramatic Rain

It's been raining heavily these last months.. it'll be sunny in the morning but by afternoon u can see the heavy clouds rolling in. And then you either get raindrops, drizzling or a "raining like cat and dog" rain.. either way, it always come full package with the thunder and lightning... sometimes you'll get extra - storms and strong wind..I've always have this thing for rain.. for me, it's a bit on the melodramatic side.. I always like to think that the rain is wiping your slate clean so that you can start a whole new day after it. Just like the feeling of starting a brand new day after having a really bad day before.. dramatic huh? and I also have this thing for rain.. I hate it that my Astro would give me a "love statement" like this "Services are currently not available" and its when I'm watching my fav soap opera or movie! aarrggghhh and then kakwe,my cool housemate have to bear with my off-tune singing at full volume of whatever song comes across my mind and the unofficial dialogues of whatever I am supposed to be able to watch at that time! hehehe and that's a real drama!

Fraser Hill's Drama And The Best of Cameron Highland

During lunch, my colleagues and i started talking about holidays.. we were reminiscing about the time we went to Fraser Hill together for our colleague's wedding.. we had a blast that time! At first we're quite lost at what we're going to do that night after the boys had finish their itching playing snooker.. the girls even had a crash course from the boys on the a to z of the game..it turned out that sri had a hidden talent for it and fairus and nije showed us so many "moves" (hm, i can't remember.. did fairus actually got one leg up on the table?? hehe) on how to get the darn white ball hit the right targeted ball..that night the fog was so thick tho it was only 22 degrees at that time..Everything was fine until Diyana and Azman got their dvd and.... 2 MIC! out! The girls went ballistic and the boys were ecstatic hehe That night, the resort witnessed the making of a highly energetic girl group with a very very wide range of vocal sounds (WE LOVE SPICE GIRLS!!) and supersonic laughter with the boys as their adoring fans and backup singers LOL but then, we were made to watch (bg can la pulak kat the boys) Apocalypto, a movie directed by Mel Gibson. and I can only watched with one eye opened as I simply cannot "adore" the scene where blood was like water and the sense of mercilessness as one kills the other with such joy.. huhu mental block bila dah abes tgk movie tu!
Anyway, actually Diyana asked me to plan another trip before end of this year and we're thinking of Cameron Highland!It's always fun to go there.. you got to eat strawberries, lepaking at the gorgeous Boh cafe,buying fresh veggies and fruits, adoring fresh flowers and breathing in the cool air.. So, I decided to share a few pics taken during my trip there last year.We departed from kl on friday after work and by the time we reach simpang pulai it was almost midnight and drizzling.. the road was dark and there were only my friend's and our car on the road.. I was behind the wheel and I felt like I'm driving into oblivion.. huhu

If u ever arrived in cameron highland at night from simpang pulai..u'll be amazed by the sights awaiting u.. first it was so dark and suddenly there were like hundreds of lights as the above on your left and right which looks like it was hanging from nothing.. it did made me felt like i was in a Dreamland!

I would like to stay in this quaint and pretty "The Smokehouse" (if i am ever able to afford it) for my next visit! It's simply postcard perfect! They even put up a signboard reading this "Please enjoy our award winning gardens,take a picture,bring home some lovely memories...but please do not pick the flowers or step on them.Do not leave anything behind except your footprints.Thanks the Almighty for all things beautiful!Be happy!"

Sorry Ilzam, I simply cant resist to put up this pic as the landscape is just so beautiful!Now who wouldn't be happy when they have a picturesque garden like this outside of their house?

Your eyes feasted on colourful,pretty flowers and unique cactus they have in Cameron Highland.u also get to buy dried bergamot which originated from Calabria,Italy and it tastes pretty ok despite of the dried shrivel look.. And don't forget to stock up on those fresh veggies and baby greens.. u can get 16 packets for variety of veggies for only RM10!

Visit to Cameron Highland won't be complete if you don't go to any tea plantation or strawberry picking farm!Just look at those strawberries with whipped cream!!I'm drooling!! And I love to lepak2 at the Boh cafe where this is the place i termed as eat with a view!Very nice and scenic indeed!

I am sooooooo looking forward to the next trip!!! =)

Poetic Thoughts

I LOVE POEMS!

Here's a collection of poem that I simply love..

I Carry Your Heart With Me
Edward Estlin Cummings

i carry your heart with me
i carry it in my heart
i am never without it
anywhere i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing,my darling
i fear no fate
for you are my fate,my sweet
i want no world
for beautiful you are my world,my true
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;
which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart
i carry it in my heart

**I heard this when Cameron Diaz is reading it for her sister's wedding in the movie "In Her Shoes". I instantly fell in love with it!

It May Not Always Be So
Edward Estlin Cummings

it may not always be so;
and i say that if your lips, which i have loved,
should touch another's,
and your dear strong fingers clutch his heart,
as mine in time not far away;
if on another's face your sweet hair lay in such a silence as i know,
or such great writhing words as, uttering overmuch,stand helplessly before the spirit at bay;
if this should be, i say if this should be --you of my heart, send me a little word;
that i may go unto him, and take his hands,
saying, Accept all happiness from me.
Then shall i turn my face,
and hear one bird sing terribly afar in the lost lands.

Maggie And Milly And Molly And May
Edward Estlin Cummings

maggie and milly and molly and may
went down to the beach (to play one day)
and maggie discovered a shell that sang so sweetly
she couldn’t remember her troubles,
and milly befriended a stranded star
whose rays five languid fingers were;
and molly was chased by a horrible thing
which raced sideways while blowing bubbles:
and may came home with a smooth round stone as small as a world and as large as alone.
For whatever we lose(like a you or a me)
it’s always ourselves we find in the sea

ONE ART
Elizabeth Bishop

The art of losing isn't hard to master;
so many things seem filled with the intent to be lost that their loss is not disaster.
Lose something every day.
Accept the fluster of lost door keys, the hour badly spent.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.
Then practice losing farther, losing faster:places, and names,
and where it was you meant to travel.
None of these will bring disaster.
I lost my mother's watch.
And look! my last, or next-to-last, of three loved homes went.
The art of losing isn't hard to master.
I lost two cities, lovely ones.
And, vaster,some realms I owned, two rivers, a continent.
I miss them, but it wasn't a disaster.
--Even losing you (the joking voice, a gestureI love) I shan't have lied.
It's evident the art of losing's not too hard to master
though it make look like (Write it!) a disaster.

** I heard this too in the movie "In Her Shoes" where the good old professor teach Cameron Diaz how to read as she's dyslexic. This poem is very meaningful.

If
Edward Estlin Cummings

If freckles were lovely, and day was night,
And measles were nice and a lie warn't a lie,
Life would be delight,-But things couldn't go right
For in such a sad plight
I wouldn't be I.
If earth was heaven, and now was hence,
And past was present, and false was true,
There might be some sense
But I'd be in suspense
For on such a pretense
You wouldn't be you.
If fear was plucky, and globes were square,
And dirt was cleanly and tears were glee
Things would seem fair,-Yet they'd all despair,
For if here was there
We wouldn't be we.
